Cetacean Song follows the imagined journey of The Last Whale.

The young whale dives down to the SOFAR channel and calls out, before returning to the surface to breach and play in the waves. Diving down again, instead of hearing a reply they hear the reflection of their call, and realise they are alone in the entirety of the ocean.
